Homebuilders understand that sometimes it takes a little window dressing to motivate a perspective buyer…..and then sometimes it takes a little more.

Pickering Valley Landscape, Inc. (PVL) is best known for building large site retaining walls and providing master plan community landscapes for tract builders. Several times a year however PVL is also called upon to help sell an individual home! Backyard hardscapes during new home construction can be challenging. Soils around recently backfilled house foundations can be soft and in need of remediation. Piping from downspouts and location of underground infiltration beds can present obstacles as well. PVL incorporated a foundation overdig stabilization technique often overlooked to ensure long term stability of the finished work. They also worked closely with the onsite excavator to ensure the integrity of the infiltration bed was not disturbed.

Company owned equipment used included a CX135 side boom excavator, a Mustang 325 skidloader, and a Rammax trench roller. Materials installed included EP Henry Terrace Wall, Old Towne Cobble pavers for the patio, and Traditional Brickstone for the meandering sidewalk connecting the driveway to the backyard raised patio. PVL also completed the landscape and small pond with water fall. End result was a sold home within one week of completion, a win-win for all involved.
